Cardinal Capuchin

Monoprint with watercolor, 5x7"

In this scene, Cardinal Capuchin reflects on man's sinful nature. When does forgetfulness cross the line into taking advantage of someone? Probably right about now.

Hee hee, me too! : )
Capuchin monkeys have a black "cap" on their heads, and I kept thinking of a cardinal's cap when I was reviewing some reference pics from the zoo. I couldn't get the name "Cardinal Capuchin" out of my head, so I decided to develop the idea further.

Terrific job on the monkey - love it too. Mixing a monoprint with watercolor is a good way to go and you've gotten solid results. This is a very enjoyable and successful work.

Thanks! I've been very excited about getting back into some printmaking. As artists we have so many tools and techniques at our disposal; I think
experimenting with different media will freshen up the creative side.
