Original Oil Paintings by Texas Artist Leslie Sealey
Terrific, Leslie. I like the broad, abstract sweeps of paint, the unusual color palette and the little flickers of light on the clock post.
I continue to enjoy the clean, sweeping abstraction of your latest paintings. Thanks for posting them!
Thanks, Don. I was really happy with this one!
Hi Lisa, I think I'll be headed more in the "sweeping abstraction" direction as things progress. Thanks for your comment!
What a contrast between these edges and the painting below. The soft edges give a dreamlike quality and the clocks work well as focal points. I have the feeling I'm late for something on a Sunday morning but the subway is not in operation.
This is one of my favorites so far. The smaller paintings are always much looser; at some point I hope I can impart that quality to the larger ones as well.
Look like times flying by.~Kirby
