Thanks Sandra! I'm glad I took another look at something "ordinary."

Thank you, Marco!

Hi René, I know you must be proud of me for making a new painting! : )

Subtle. I like that. It's interesting how flat the bed looks.

Beautiful, Leslie. Love how you've pared the image down to the essential.

Hi David! I think it needs a little more distinction between the vertical plane of the pillow and the horizontal plane of the bed. Having said that, I checked the values very carefully and they (the shadow areas) were practically the same, so I need to have a light hand with any corrections.

Thanks Don!

Love it! Isn't it great the wonders one can see (and paint)...wonders that surround us every day.

Simple subject that's easy to screw, but you executed it nicely. Good Job!

Thank you Triecia! I'm glad I didn't ignore that little voice telling me to paint it.

Ha ha B.G. you always make me laugh! You are absolutely right, of course.

Leslie Sealey said...

Sanjeev, thank you. I also like your paintings, especially the watercolor.

Leslie Sealey said...

David I'm always on the lookout for a new perspective on familiar subjects!

Sylvia, I appreciate your comment, thanks!

Beautiful. The light effects you've achieved here are so much harder to achieve than it looks.

Thanks, Ed!

Hey Leslie!
I was at the salon show and saw your beautiful painting! It was a thrill to meet so many wonderful artists and see their work. Let me know your email address and I will send you the photo.

Hi Peter! I am sorry I missed you; I was there Friday and unfortunately my husband and I were running late. We got there about 10 minutes before they seated everyone for dinner, so I missed the "meet and greet" portion of the evening. Your painting looked great! Feel free to send a photo (thanks-I really appreciate that) to lsealey@austin.rr.com
