Here's a little plein air painting I did last night. I haven't painted outside in a while; it is really challenging-you have to work fast before you lose the light!
BG, I had to paint so fast I didn't worry about details. It was good to get out of my comfort zone and try something new; I think I need to add some plein air work on a routine basis.

Didn't know you're from Austin. My brother lives in Lakewood and I visited him over new years. GORGEOUS area. as is this painting!
Nice work! I love the job you did on the grass.
Sandy, I do love this area; the Texas hill country is beautiful and landscape painters here have a lot of material to work with. Thanks!

Hold the phone Leslie...a plein air painting (day scene) you did last night? You're confusing me.
It was between 7-8 p.m...last twilight? : )
Yep. I'm looking out my window now, and still plenty of sunlight at 8PM!
