Semi Reflection II

24x24"
I don't remember if I ever shared this one; it is about a year old. I wasn't even sure I liked it and I put it up for a while. Now that I look at it again I'm pretty happy with it. Sorry for the lapse in posting; I've been really sick and I am just now starting to feel like painting again.

Great use of perspective!

Cool! It kind of reminds me of those train paintings you did a while back that got me hooked on your blog. Probably because they are both night scenes on the road. And don't apologize for being sick! I have time lapses on my blog all the time and I hardly ever have an excuse.

Sorry to hear you've been sick.
You have a special way with this modern, almost abstract paintings. This is really striking.

Thanks Silvina, I really appreciate your comment! That's the challenge; to take everyday scenes and impart something new to them.

Thank you David! I don't know why I had issues with this one at first; I vaguely remember thinking it wasn't "complex" enough or something silly like that. : )

Really very nice indeed, cosy but windswept.
