The Long Black Train

Hi folks, it's been a while but I finally had a vacation, and I'm ready to paint again. This one is from imagination-what better way to get back in the groove? I thought I should quit while I was ahead and leave it as it stands.

Cool perspective piece! The power line looks almost abandoned to obscurity, and there's a desolate "blues" feeling to it.

Thanks B.G.! I liked the starkness of it, I'm glad all those things come across in the painting.

I really like this piece. The simplicity of design makes it modern, yet it's nostalgic at the same time.

Congratulations on being included in S. A. Magazine! It's not the first time, is it?

Hi Silvina,
This will be the first time for SW Art; I am anxious to see which painting they will choose. Looks like your students are coming along nicely (visited your blog). : )

Hi Renée,
I am getting ready to do another big group of paintings; hopefully some larger ones this time!
