Original Oil Paintings by Texas Artist Leslie Sealey
Just came across your blog via Wm. Wray's. I like your work a lot. I really like your paintings from imagination as well.
I hope it's not a self portrait of you contemplating about the "Sled Dogs" painting. ;-) I like this one, the lines of the wall an also her/his legs they all lead your eyes to the head, ...... Fresh painting as well.
Chris, thanks for stopping by! I would like to continue to do more work from imagination. Speaking of, I am STILL laughing over your "Thomas Kinkade vs. Godzilla" painting!!
Hi René! It's not a self-portrait, but I am still contemplating the big version of "Sled Dogs." You are right; it will be a challenge. Thanks for your comments on this new painting; I put a lot of thought into the composition and I'm glad you noticed!
Nice composition. Relaxed feeling - Really like it.
This was done after about a week of rain and cold weather; everyone was out in the park soaking up the sun. Thanks for commenting. : )
I love the way the steps look. They make your eyes wander up and to the right--in contemplation, it seems like peoples' eyes do the same.
BG-I wish I could say I planned it that way! What a great observation. My husband says he always knows when I'm daydreaming (or contemplating something) because my eyes go up and to the right. ; - )
a fine painting that is, bravo!
Yes, the Kinkade piece is a Supreme Masterpiece hence the steep price. (Fun with Photoshop and yanked images from the net) ;-)
the light on thbis one is very strong. Well done.
